Angel Crawford, Executive Director –

Ms. Crawford is a life-long resident of Iroquois County, who has worked at numerous local businesses throughout the county. She began her leadership of IEDA in the summer of 2021. Previously, Angel was an Executive Legislative Assistant for State Representative Tom Bennett in Watseka where she worked with Federal, State, County, district officials and constituents in 5 counties on topics relating to global, national, social, economical and environmental concerns. In addition to her legislative and economic development experience, Angel has over 15 years of experience in major manufacturing roles.

For over 50 years, IEDA has been instrumental in attracting businesses and growing Iroquois County through the development of workforce, building incentives, community collaboration and partnerships with federal, state and local partners. This is an exciting time for Iroquois County and she realizes being a rural agricultural county is who we are! IEDA looks forward to working with all of these partners to help the communities in Iroquois County continue to grow and knows this growth will make a positive impact for generations to come!
